FORT PIERCE — State prosecutors rested their case Tuesday against murder suspect Eriese Tisdale after presenting 18 witnesses during three days of trial testimony in the shooting death of St. Lucie County Sheriff Sgt. Gary Morales.

Ronald Coleman, 34, 400 block of 22nd Street, Fort Pierce; warrant for battery, prior conviction.

Debra Rodriguez, 63, 400 block of Easy Street, Sebastian; warrant for violation of probation, trespassing of an occupied dwelling.

Levasiyea Freeman, 35, West Palm Beach; driving while license suspended, third or subsequent offense.

Carl French found the hunk of metal a few miles south of the the Sebastian Inlet State Park Sunday.

A crime scene expert said that based on the path of bullets fired at Sgt. Gary Morales, he could tell the shooter was running toward the patrol car while firing.
