Car runs over man, crashes into garage in north Huntsville neighborhood

Police, HEMSI and fire crews responded to the 3900 block of Broadmor Road at about 4:30 p.m. after receiving a call about a car hitting a house. Officials say they found a man had been run over in the driveway and pushed partially into the garage where the Chevrolet Suburban crashed. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while crews stabilized the garage to prevent it from collapsing.

 

Large 'Tent City' homeless camp under I-565 in Huntsville to be shut down within days
