Unless otherwise noted, Huntsville police reported the following incidents Thursday. In items with incomplete addresses, police withheld the information.

Look for mostly sun outside and highs in the upper 60s as high pressure to the south moves into the region. These temperatures are more than 10 degrees below the seasonal norm. A few west winds between 5 and 15 mph could also crop up.

Officers responded at about 6 p.m., according to the police report. Police say nothing suspicious was found. No other details were immediately available, but the investigation is ongoing.

Campaign director Fariba Tabarrok explained that companies across the county engage in internal fundraising campaigns each year. Jose Manuel Martinez is currently scheduled to begin trial on June 16 in the March 2013 shooting death of Jose Arturo Ruiz in Lawrence County, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Martinez's attorneys field papers Wednesday asking for a continuance. The Lawrence County clerk's office did not know the trial date his attorneys are seeking.
