CHAMPAIGN — The Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon could add a mile run next year to the marathon and relay, half marathon, 10K, 5K and youth run.
"The mile would be a straight shot on Green Street," said the races' co-director, Jan Seeley.

It started in March 2013 as a one-night event that raised about $1,900 to help pay a portion of the cost to send two children with degenerative illnesses to a weeklong summer camp.
