NEWTOWN — A suspected burglar was arrested Saturday after police said he tried to ransom several items he stole from a relative’s home back to the owner. Police said that one day after the burglary, which happened Friday on Orchard Hill Road, 24-year-old Joshua Adams sent text messages to the homeowner demanding money for the return of the stolen items.
