CITY OF NEWBURGH - A student was charged with felony assault after body-slamming a teacher Thursday afternoon in a cafeteria at Newburgh Free Academy's Main campus, police said.The teacher was sent to St. Luke’s Cornwall hospital for treatment to injuries sustained during the incident, Newburgh police said in a news release Friday morning.
