Cops Net Five Ounces Of Cocaine In Stamford Drug Bust

STAMFORD-City police on Friday laid in wait for a suspected drug dealer returning from New York City with a resupply of cocaine and busted the man allegedly in possession of almost five ounces of the illicit drug worth about $18,000, police said. Darren Baldwin, 31, of North Street was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics, interfering with police and possession of drug paraphernalia and was held in lieu of a $50,000 court appearance bond.
