A Connecticut lawmaker who wants to end the practice of moving the clocks forward and back every year has proposed legislation that could ultimately lead to a change in the state’s time zone and possibly New England’s as well. Republican Rep. Kurt Vail of Stafford first proposed three years ago that Connecticut move from the Eastern time zone to Atlantic Standard Time year-round.
