DANBURY — A competency evaluation was ordered Friday for Steven Flood, a New Fairfield man facing murder charges in connection to the gruesome slaying of his roommate in May. Flood is facing several charges, including felony murder and first-degree sexual assault, in the death of Susan Guido, a 55-year-old woman who was found beaten to death in a home she shared with Flood near Candlewood Lake.
