Taevion Swint, the dynamic Kissimmee Osceola senior running back who committed to UCF in April of last year, said Saturday he remains committed to the Knights despite news that head coach Gus Malzahn had stepped down. “I don’t have any thoughts. It’s still the same mindset,” Swint said, reached shortly after the news had surfaced that Malzahn had decided to take on the offensive coordinator position at Florida State and reuniting him with FSU coach Mike Norvell. Malzahn and Norvell were assistants on the same staff under Todd Graham at Tulsa in 2007.
