Robert McCall would love to best Shang-Chi’s Labor Day record. The Equalizer 3 is off to a thrilling start at the box office. Director Antoine Fuqua’s sequel, which features Denzel Washington as Mr. McCall, took in $3.8 million to get things started during its Thursday previews, domestically. And opening day didn’t let The Equalizer 3 down either, as the film brought in $13.1 million (per The Numbers).
