Man sentenced to life in prison for Aurora workplace shooting death

A 32-year-old man was convicted of first-degree murder for the shooting death of a workplace supervisor in Aurora as part of an attempt to conceal a payroll scheme. Michael Poydras was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the October 2021, shooting of 51-year-old Ryan Dillard, according to an Adams County District Attorney’s Office news release.
