By Lynn West New Albany Gazette NEW ALBANY – A just-renovated Barnes Crossing Chevrolet Buick GMC auto dealership held a formal ribbon-cutting in New Albany Wednesday morning, concluding a process that owner Joe Marshall likened to “going from the chrysalis to the butterfly.” Marshall purchased what had been Parks Chevrolet, one of the oldest auto dealerships in Northeast Mississippi continuously owned by the same family for close to a century. He immediately began expanding the business, adding more inventory and a larger display area.
