Lila Casler arrived at the Amarillo Tri-State Fairgrounds on Friday morning bearing tubs of homemade cookies for the annual Tri-State Fair & Rodeo Open Culinary competition. The 91-year-old is a veteran of the competition, whose treats went straight from the oven into the hands of her five children before some eventually landed in front of the judges, going on to win blue ribbons.
