He will replace Lina Khan, who became a lightning rod for Wall Street and Silicon Valley by blocking billions of dollars’ worth of corporate acquisitions and suing Amazon and Meta while alleging anticompetitive behavior. Former UCF coach Gus Malzahn signed a three-year, $6 million deal to be Florida State‘s new offensive coordinator. The Orlando Sentinel obtained details of Malzahn’s contract through a public records request. The 59-year-old, signed through Feb. 28, 2028, is set to make a base salary of $200,000 annually with additional compensation of $1.3 million in Year 1, $1.8 million in Year 2 and $2.3 million in Year 3.
