RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia's seventh sales-tax holiday on energy-efficient products begins Friday. Residential consumers can save money by buying sales-tax exempt heat pumps, dishwashers, washing machines, insulation, toilets and other products during the sales-tax holiday, which runs through Oct. 14. Products exempt from the sales tax must cost $2,500 or less.
