Smoke from nearby wildfires will fill Colorado skies Monday and Tuesday as near-record temperatures continue, according to the National Weather Service. Patchy smoke from wildfires in Wyoming and Idaho will move into Colorado on Monday, NWS forecasters said. As of 6:45 a.m. Monday, the worst air quality conditions were in western Colorado, near Grand Junction. Near the Grand Junction Airport and Redlands, AirNow air sensors recorded AQIs between 102 and 146 on Monday morning. The AQI measuring system reports daily levels of air pollution.
