Warmer temperatures but possibly with more snow, are predicted for this winter, and the Colorado Springs Street Division says plow crews are ready and waiting. "Very few times we get surprised by storms," said Corey Farkas, streets division manager for the city. "We typically know they are coming before they get here." Farkas said city street personnel have been monitoring weather updates and believe El Niño will bring the region warmer-than-usual temperatures but probably more snow. That's good news to Farkas.
