A Colorado Springs man who was pulled out of a burning townhouse and died from a drug overdose set the fire, police said Wednesday. Investigators ruled that Jasen Martinez, 40, caused the blaze at a Georgetown Square townhouse April 11 before he was carried out by several firefighters, said Lt. Catherine Buckley, a Colorado Springs police spokeswoman. Buckley said investigators are waiting for one more report before the case is closed and more information is released. Martinez was intoxicated with amphetamine and cocaine at the time of the fire.
