Colorado Springs Holiday Meals Feed Thousands

Half a ton of ham, 50 gallons of gravy, 15 sheet cakes and 1,000 pies - just reading the list is enough to make you loosen your belt.Volunteers and service groups in the Pikes Peak region cooked up a cornucopia that fed nearly 6,000 people over the two-day holiday period, not to mention the toys, clothing and cheer they shared along the way.And let's not forget about the green beans.Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
