Colorado Springs High School Student To Be Disciplined After Snapchat Message Surfaces

A student will be disciplined after sending out a threatening message on social media site Snapchat. The Doherty High School student on Thursday sent out to followers a hand-drawn gun with the message: "Don't come to school tomorrow," Gazette partner KKTV reported. One student showed the post to a parent, Penny Porter, who reported it to the school. "I don't want any parent to have to hear about a school shooting and be the one who could have stopped it," Porter told KKTV. A Colorado Springs police investigation determined the student who sent the Snapchat did not have a gun. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
