Another Harrison District 2 elementary school is a repeat winner of the coveted National Blue Ribbon Award. Wildflower Elementary School, on the city's southeast side at 1160 Keith Drive, is among the 342 public and private schools U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos named Thursday as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2017. Wildflower is being recognized for overall academic excellence, for ranking in the top 15 percent of all Colorado elementary schools in state assessments.
