Downtown Colorado Springs lures visitors for many reasons, not the least of which is its rich collection of public art. Art on the Streets celebrates 20 years of its popular blocks-long sculpture garden with a plumped-up exhibit, heftier budget, first-time public art map, expanded app-based map and limited edition beers by the brewery Local Relic with labels featuring iconic pieces from past Art on the Streets exhibits. Claire Swinford, urban engagement manager for Downtown Colorado Springs, supervises the installation of the sculptures and is constantly approached by people wondering if the piece is part of Art on the Streets, a program of Downtown Ventures.
