BRIGHTON — An Adams County fisherman is safe after he reeled in a pipe bomb on Monday and it was quickly disabled by a bomb squad. The sheriff's office says the bomb was found at Barr Lake State Park northeast of Denver. Investigators say the unidentified fisherman was near a boat ramp when reeled it in and turned it over to park rangers. The Adams County Bomb Squad determined it could be a dangerous explosive device and disabled it.
