By next week, Colorado driver's licenses will have a new look. The card will have a two-week, statewide unveiling April 6, the Division of Motor Vehicles said Monday. The new design features a "more colorful background" that showcases Mount Sneffels next to a laser-engraved black and white photo of the driver, the DMV said. The features also apply to instruction permits and identification cards. DMV offices will be closed a day before they beginning issuing the new cards to allow installation of new equipment and training.
