The Denver Post reports (http://dpo.st/1Ab7SP5 ) that DigitalGlobe is enlisting the public's help in tagging areas of destruction following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The company is using its crowdsourcing platform Tomnod. It allows people around the globe to compare before and after photos to tag collapsed buildings, blocked roads and other such sites. Response teams on the ground will use the information to guide their efforts and identify the best routes to hospitals and airports.
