Firefighters have responded to a fire on a large boat at the South Port Marine in South Portland. The Coast Guard spotted the fire at 11:45 a.m. and alerted Portland dispatch. South Portland firefighters responded as did Portland’s fire boat. Firefighters were on board the boat, which is between 50 and 70 feet long, at noon. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
