Coast Guard Sector Northern New England will hold a change of command ceremony Thursday as outgoing Capt. Brian Gilda is replaced by Capt. Michael Baroody. Baroody is currently deputy sector commander of the Houston-Galveston district. Gilda has been commander of Sector Northern New England for two years. Sector Northern New England covers Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and part of northern New York.
