Clinton Township officials on Thursday said the township's longtime planning director has been placed on a paid leave of absence, one day after he admitted to funneling bribes in the ongoing public corruption scandal.Carlo Santia, head of the planning and community development department, has until Monday to decide whether or not he will retire, according to township Supervisor Robert Cannon.
