Clinton Twp. Board Weighs In On Nestle Bottled Water Controversy

Add Clinton Township to the list of local government officials opposing a move by state regulators to allow Nestle Waters North America to increase the amount of groundwater it pumps from an aquifer in northern Michigan for its Ice Mountain brand.The Clinton Township Board of Trustees last week approved a resolution that calls for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) to reconsider its endorsement of Nestle's water permit.
