Polymarket, the cryptocurrency prediction market, is currently seeing a massive increase in bets on whether Bitcoin will hit $100,000. The cryptocurrency is amid a surge, growing to $89,000 on the morning of November 12. It has begun to slump back down to the $87,000 mark. Part of this has been attributed to incoming President Trump, who is seemingly backing Bitcoin. As of right now, $13.3 million has been bet on Bitcoin’s price in November, with one of the bets estimating that it will land at $105,000.

Bitcoin (BTC) is currently surging, hitting $89,000 and rocketing over $9000 in value between November 11 and 12. At the time of writing, it has slinked back down to $88,300 but still appears to be set to continue growing. The massive increase is attributed to Donald Trump’s election win, as the incoming president has been championing cryptocurrency this time around. It’s a vastly different story from 2019, when Trump said that he wasn’t a “fan of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies” and claimed they weren’t “money.” I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air.

It could be even easier for Instagram users to make their AI-powered profile picture, judging from a new in-app test. While it’s already possible to create an AI-generated profile picture using third-party services, it could soon be available to do in-app. App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi has reported on X that Instagram is testing a new feature for all of its users, to streamline the process of creating AI-generated profile images. Users won’t need to leave the Instagram app or use a third-party service provider but instead do it directly from the profile editing section.
