Clay Commission Seeking New County Attorney

GREEN COVE SPRINGS | The Clay County Commission is trying to figure out the best way to replace longtime County Attorney Mark Scruby who plans to retire Aug. 31 after serving 27 years as its chief legal counsel. Scruby previously served three years as an assistant state attorney — meaning he will have spent 30 years in government service when he closes his county office door for the last time.
