Historical society hosts program on Daniel Wild

CEDAR FALLS — A three-part program on Daniel Wild and his contributions to Cedar Falls is being offered by the Cedar Falls Historical Society in conjunction with its 2018 exhibit “Bear Whistles, Butter Churns and Beyond: Ceramics in Cedar Falls.”

 

Wild horse and burro event planned in Waterloo

WATERLOO — The Bureau of Land Management will hold a wild horse and burro event, providing wild horses and possibly a few yearling and burros on June 15 and 16 at National Cattle Congress, 275 Ansborough Ave.
