Axton man killed in Pittsylvania County wreck - www.roanoke.com

A single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Pittsylvania County claimed the life of a Henry County man, Virginia State Police announced this morning.Tonche Maurice Hodge, 39, of Axton was driving a 1999 Volvo S70 sedan when it ran off the road and into an embankment, Sgt. Robert Carpentieri said in a news release. The Volvo flew into the air and struck an tree. Hodge was pronounced dead at the scene, Carpentieri said.
