Come meet painter and art teacher Sue Hoy at an artist's reception on December 12, from 6-8 pm. in the Wotiz Gallery of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.  Her paintings are on exhibit throughout December in the Wotiz Gallery.  All are welcome and the reception is free.

Sue Hoy said, "As an artist, I am trying to capture the spirit of my subject by reducing details and concentrating on light and shape.  My paintings are rich in color and bold in brushwork.  I am inspired by nature's beauty and the chance to interpret it in simple, yet compelling ways."
