Salvation Army collecting fans for elderly, disabled; other charitable events planned

The Salvation Army is collecting new fans to help reduce the dangers of heat exposure for the elderly, ill and disabled. The fan program runs until Sept. 7 and will provide a free fan to qualified individuals.
