Road construction to close two lanes of Mound Road in Sterling Heights

Motorists who drive on Mound Road in Sterling Heights take note: a new construction project is scheduled to begin Monday night.Two lanes of northbound Mound from 14 Mile to 16 Mile roads will be closed, while work crews keep two other lanes open for traffic.The $12 million project includes concrete milling and replacement, but mostly will involve asphalt repaving, according to the Macomb County Department of Roads.
