Alabama Fire Marshal Ed Paulk said Jane Mire was home alone when a fire broke out about 8:17 p.m. in her home on Augustine Drive.

Upon entering an apartment, they found a little more than 80 grams of synthetic marijuana, hydroponic marijuana and regular marijuana; crack cocaine and prescription drugs, officials with the Mobile Police Department said.

"On the scale on how they rank as events ... this was a 200-year event by all estimates that we've been able to find," Craft said.
