Officers with the Mobile Police Department arrested the man, who has not been identified, early Saturday for the alleged shooting of the 42-year-old man.

Alabama State Troopers investigating a fatal crash that took the life of an elderly Theodore man late Friday.The crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Alabama 193 about seven miles south of Mobile.

In the last 24 hours, several inches of rainfall were recorded in the area and a flash flood watch remains in effect until later this evening when storms are expected to taper off, according to the National Weather Service.
