MONTICELLO - A Monticello woman has been charged with assaulting her 5-month-old daughter, who had to be flown to a hospital for her injuries, according to police.Monticello officers responded shortly before 11:20 p.m. Monday to a 911 report of an infant who had been assaulted by Christina M. New Hampton FD softball team brings home Championship

New Hampton Fire Department has a team in the The Orange County Emergency Services Softball League. The team finished with a 13-1 record and beat Pine Island Fire Department for the championship. The New Hampton Fire Department has had a team in the league for over a decade. This is their second championship win. The league is always looking for new competitors.
