A cat that attacked a man and two dogs June 8 on Langhorne Road in Lynchburg has tested positive for rabies, according to a news release from the Lynchburg Police Department.

Several people were injured in a three vehicle collision Tuesday on 501 north in Lynchburg, according to the Lynchburg Police Department. The wreck is near Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory just before the Lakeside Drive exit.
