Veterans sought for parade

2016 Valley Center Days Parade are looking for U.S. military veterans to participate in their 2016 parade. The parade slated for 9 a.m. May 28 reflects the theme “Standing Tall: One Nation, Under God.” The Grand Marshall will be WWII Navy Frogman, Hank Weldon, accompanied by a marshall’s posse of fellow WWII and Korean War veterans. The parade will honor all veterans whether they served in peacetime or war.
