3 arrested in vehicle break-ins

Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection with seven vehicle break-ins reported Wednesday, Bend Police Department announced in a Saturday news release.The boys, ages 15, 16 and 17, were identified while police were looking into a report of a runaway juvenile on Thursday.

 

Arrest made; suspected drug lab scrubbed

A hazardous materials team cleaned up a suspected drug lab in Bend Saturday, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.In a news release, Capt. Scott Beard said the lab was discovered Friday night when deputies were serving a search warrant at a home on Northeast Broken Bow Drive as part of an investigation into drug and sex crimes.

Ralph and Janet (Gardner) Delacour, of Bend, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary with a family reception hosted by their daughters.The couple were married Oct. 30, 1947, in Yuma, Ariz.

 

Hollinger

William “Bill" and Margaret (Weinheimer) Hollinger, of Bend, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.The couple were married Nov. 14, 1953, at Christ the King Church in Los Angeles. They have four children, Shawn (and Mary), of Bend, Kevin (and Meg), of Saigon, Vietnam, and the late Bill Jr.

 

Janego — Higgins

Jessie Janego and Erik Higgins, both of Portland, plan to marry June 21, 2014, at Alpenglow in Sisters.The future bride is the daughter of Steven and Patricia Janego, of Sisters. She is a 2003 graduate of Corvallis High School and a 2007 graduate of University of Oregon, where she studied political science.

Winter rates kick in at museum

The High Desert Museum’s winter hours and rates began Friday. The hours are 10 a. m.-4 p. m. daily except for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, when the museum is closed.The rates are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and older, $7 for ages 5-12 and free for ages 4 and younger and members.
