Route 30 drawbridge to frequently open and close all week, police say

The Absecon drawbridge on Route 30 near Grammercy Avenue will be conducting frequent openings and closings from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout this week, according to a tweet from the Atlantic City Police Department.

Rainfall record set in South Jersey on Saturday

A record rainfall of 1.14 inches of rain was set at Atlantic City International Airport in Pomona on Sunday. This breaks the old record of 1.13 inches, set back in 1927.
