City Electric Supply has opened the doors to its McHenry branch, the newest of its 500 branches across the country after nearly a year of preparation. CES chose a 75-year-old building, located at 4030 Main St., that was once a lumberyard in the center of town. Branch Manager Dan Mahan, District Manager Steven Zank and Vice President of Operations Jamie Marujo took close to four months to sign the contract, get in the door and tear down some walls in the building that was vacant for 25 years. “We actually had to tear down an old part of the front of the building so our general contractor could rebuild it,” Mahan said.
