City Council To Hold Evening Meetings

Action at the Tuesday Amarillo City Council meeting covered a variety of topics beyond downtown development ranging from changing the time meetings are held to signing on to a task force to reduce auto thefts. Council meetings will transition to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays in an attempt to make it easier for residents to attend. “Let’s give it a shot and see if it’s good for people,” Councilman Mark Nair said. read more
