Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's newest baby giraffe was found splayed in her stall Wednesday morning, requiring medical attention from zoo staff. Thousands of people tuned in to watch the zoo's live video on Facebook, showing the calf being tended to by six zoo employees. The severity of the condition of the baby giraffe, born last week and the 200th to be born at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, is unknown at this time. "This can be anywhere from not very serious and treatable to life-threatening," wrote Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in their post on Facebook. The female calf has yet to be named.
