(AP) — Chevron is considering plans to build a luxury resort at the site of an abandoned oil field it owns on a scenic bluff along the San Luis Obispo County coast. The San Luis Obispo Tribune reported Saturday (http://bit.ly/1OM4Mwz) that the oil giant has applied to convert the property above Avila Beach into a 232-unit facility complete with amenities like a spa, restaurants and retail stores.
