Ken Chandler has resigned as head football coach at Bruce High School after one season to become the offensive coordinator at Kirk Academy in Grenada. Chandler said the move enabled him to “re-retire” from the public schools. He retired in 2013 from Winona High to become coach at Winona Academy and began drawing his state retirement benefits. “I was kind of burned out as the head coach,” he said.
