CHAMPAIGN — A Champaign man pulled out of a burning car Tuesday on Interstate 57 is slowly recovering at a Springfield hospital. State police said Andrew Bergan, 31, was rear-ended Tuesday afternoon by a Tennessee man while stopped in traffic caused by another crash on the highway. His car caught fire, and three motorists and an state trooper helped pull him out. read more
